Edge Impulse Is Everywhere at Embedded World 2022

We’re gearing up for the largest trade event in Europe (if not globally) for the embedded computing industry: Embedded World, happening this June 21st–23rd in Nuremberg, Germany. You’ll find almost every vendor operating in the embedded arena there, and Edge Impulse will present in a big way too.

The show is enormous, with over 1,100 exhibitors and over 30,000 attendees at the event in 2019. The current exhibitor list includes everything from component and module makers, to silicon vendors, to software and service providers. Held in the Messezentrum Nuremberg convention center, the event is spread between six separate halls, organized by exhibitor function and application.

Booths

Eight of the exhibitors at the show will be hosting Edge Impulse in their booths, to further demonstrate how their hardware and our software can help create machine learning solutions for edge-based scenarios and products. If you’re coming to the event, either as an attendee or a fellow exhibitor, we respectfully request you to stop by to see all the fun things we have in store, such as demos of FOMO (our new object detection algorithm), wildlife detection, people counters, and more.

Come see us with the following partners:

Silicon Labs - Semiconductor designer and manufacturer, providing tools to customers with an IoT focus. (Hall 4A, booth 128/129)

Renesas MPU - Complete semiconductor solutions provider. (Hall 1, booth 234)

Bittium - Product development service provider focused on wireless communication, industry, and medical tech. (Hall 4, booth 551)

Panasonic - Provides industrial products and services, research, development, manufacturing, and supplying technologies. (Hall 4A, booth 103)

Infineon - One of the 10 largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world. (Hall 4A, booth 138)

Arm/Alif - Arm is one of the top processor design companies (chips based on its designs are used in every facet of computing); Alif is an AI-focused microcontroller maker. (Hall 4, booth 140)

Nordic Semiconductor - Fabless semiconductor maker specializing in ultra-low-power wireless systems-on-chip. (Hall 4, booth 140)

Sony Semiconductor/Framos - Sony provides semiconductor solutions; Framos produces camera and vision sensors. (Hall 2, booth 555)

On stage

Embedded World will also be hosting three days of fascinating presentations throughout the show; Edge Impulse co-founder/CTO Jan Jongboom will be part of the panel discussion “Integration of embedded vision: towards plug and play” on June 22 at 1130am. Be sure to check it out.

Let’s meet up

In addition to having demos and team members in various booths, we’d also love to sit down and talk about how Edge Impulse can transform your product with on-device intelligence. Schedule a meeting with us here.

Can’t make it to Embedded World?

If it’s not feasible to get to Nuremberg to come say hi, don’t fret — Edge Impulse is currently on tour through Europe with our own Edge ML Series. We’ll be in Munich on July 5th and 6th and would love you to join. Request an invite and we’ll see you there.
