Salem Emara is the AI Lead at Nordic Semiconductor, where he drives ultra-low-power Edge AI technologies and leads the development of the AXON AI accelerator for next-generation IoT devices. His work focuses on enabling scalable, on-device intelligence in everyday, battery-powered systems.

Prior to Nordic, he was a Senior Director of Engineering at Atlazo, where he led the development of AI-enabled SoCs for health and edge applications. Earlier in his career, he held senior engineering roles at Qualcomm and AMD, with deep expertise in multimedia, communication systems, and advanced SoC design.

He is also a Solar System Ambassador with NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he delivers public talks on the latest NASA missions and discoveries.
